DUO SPINOSI - Classical Guitar | Josiane and Philippe Spinosi.Having performed in France in many festivals (Reims, Melle, Patrimonio) as well as playing for young musicians all over the country, this duo has totaled 180 concerts for nearly 50,000 people in three years. Tours have also brought them to the USA, Germany, Ireland, Marocco, Tunisia, Madagascar and Mauritius. They have participated in a number of radio and television shows on France 3, Radio France and RFO. Young composers such as René Combes and Didier Goret have dedicated works to them. As part of the group Quatuor du Centre, they have travelled up and down France. |

YAN VAGH – Acoustic jazz with JEAN-FELIX LALANNE | Yan Vagh, a composer and guitarist born in Paris, has worked with Claude Barthélemy, Renaud Garcia-Fons, Gérard Marais, Didier Malherbe, Pierre Vassiliu, etc. He has even arranged for Johnny Halliday. As leader or soloist in various groups, he has performed in Paris at the New Morning, the Opéra Bastille, and the Glaz'art, as well as travelling to the Festival of Glastonbury. Since March 2000 he has remained at the « Club des 7 Llézards » in Paris, giving two concerts a month. |

Jean-Félix Lalanne is a multiple-facetted guitarist and composer. After his first solo appearance at the age of 13, he continues to give concerts while also studying classical guitar, jazz and flamenco at the guitar academy of Marseille. He devotes himself to doing original Chopin transcriptions and to producing orchestrations of albums by his brother Francis. He accompanies his initiator Marcel Dadi (two tours : France and abroad) and shares the stage with John MacLaughlin (festival of Liège), with Muriel Anderson (tours in the USA) or with Maxime Le Forestier. He has also produced several soundtracks (le passage, 36-15 code père No‘l, un amour de sorcière, un ange tombé du ciel, etc). |

DUO CONFLUENCIA : Eduardo MARTIN and Walfrido DOMINGUEZ| They have played together since 1990 in most of the largest guitar festivals of the world : the USA, Japan, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and all of Latin America. Eduardo Martin was the first Latin American composer to win first prize for a composition in the 1991 Radio France international contest. Walfrido Dominguez is a virtuoso with a remarkable sensitivity. Composer and arranger, he has a beautiful presence on stage and a great sense of humor. |

This duo plays traditional Cuban music, such as son, cha-cha-cha and boleros, with a very particular style. They « captivate » the audience from the opening of their first piece. In Latin America they are called : « those with no equal »... Discography : They have released ten compact disks and published 25 works for guitar. |

Born in Belgium, Jo‘lle has played in classical and baroque music ensembles such as the Concerto Köln, the Concerts des Nations, directed by Jordi Savall, the National Radio Youth Orchestra of Argentina and the Buenos Aires Tango Orchestra, under the direction of R. Gallaredo and C. Garcia. She currently plays with the National Symphony Orchestra of Argentina. Born in Buenos Aires, Felipe is a composer, arranger, and the director of a collection of music. He began early playing with the great masters : Horacio Ceballos, Juan Falu, Jorge Cardoso and Anibal Arias. |

The duo in its present form plays instrumental tangos of orchestras typical of the 1920s, keeping the color and ambiance of that period before the appearance of great contemporary groups. They just had a great success at the last World Guitar Festival of Buenos Aires, the largest guitar festival in the world (130 guest guitarists from 34 countries). |

They play fast waltzes from the Equatorian coast, pasillos, sanjuanitos, and albazos from the Andes Mountains, as well as the « gems » of music from every country in Latin America. DANIEL MANZANAS
A colorful flamenco virtuoso with a bewitching voice and a rigorous rhythm, Daniel Manzanas has worked with such greats of the purest flamenco as Rafael Heredia. Once the principle dancer of « Carmen Amaya », he now plays with Rapha‘l Fays, another great virtuoso of gipsy guitar, and has toured Europe many times. In 1992, he contributed to the music for the film La Belle Histoire by Claude Lelouch. |
