Organized by : Guitares au Gré du Loir
It is a non-profit assocation (under the law of 1901) created in 1997 in Vendôme, one of the most beautiful cities in the Région Centre. Since its creation, about sixty people from several cities of France and abroad have joined and volunteer each year in organizing this festival, unanimously known for the quality of its concerts by spectators as well as the national and international press (see articles of the press).
Guitares au gré du Loir is also two groups of guitarists, wiwh are meeting once a week with Cristóbal Pazmiño
Those two groups (children and adults) are often playing near Vendôme, with differents music styles (latino-american, classic, songs adaptations...)
The main activity in 2003 was an exchange with "Guitar-consort", a group from Vitry-Paris leaded by Laurent Legrand. The parisians have been invited to a concert in Vendôme (in the "Greniers de l'abbaye" hall). Then, "Guitares au Gré du Loir" went to Vitry (24th may). Each one of these concerts have been heard by among 200 persons.
