The PORTUGAL Quartet, created in 2005, currently consists of Eudoro Grade, João Nunes, Jorge Pires and Pedro Rufino. From the complicity between these musicians and their varied personalities and influences emerge the stimulating timbre and beauty of sound that the four guitars produce together. The musical direction of this quartet is characterized by the originality and diversity of their vast repertoire, as well as the distribution of exclusively adapted works. An example of this is the work of composer Pedro Louzeiro of several pieces by Carlos Paredes and Zeca Afonso, which will appear on the first CD of the Portugal Quartet which they are currently working on and which will be released soon. The PORTUGAL Quartet has maintained an intense schedule of concerts in Portugal and abroad. They have played mainly in festivals such as the Festival "Guitars en Picardie", the festival "MED" (Loulé - Portugal), the festival "Onde Sonore", the "Ossola Guitar Festival" (Italy) and the "International Festival of Palen Guitar"
